Suggestion: faster way to view video in external program

I use FRV daily to review trail camera memory cards. There's a mix of JPG and MP4. The MP4's display icon is "Decoding Error", so they are easy to spot in the mix. For each MP4, I have to select it, right click, click Run Program, then scroll down to the program I want to use (there are several on my Mac that could view it). That's too much fiddly mousing, and too error-prone.
I suggest you add a setting for Preferred MP4 Viewer or something like that, where I could choose my program once.
The I suggest a shortcut or, ideally, double-click to activate the preferred viewer. This would be far faster and easier.
