New features/minor fixes
- Filename filtering: the Invert filter checkbox implemented for filename filtering, if checked it inverts match: only unmatching files are displayed.
- FilmstripFileOpenDelay hidden setting improved/changed:
- if set to zero: next/prev file switch in standard selection mode will work as fast as in Advanced selection mode
- default value is now zero (existing installations are not affected because value is read from settings and std. value in previous versions is 255 msec)
- FilmstripDefaultOpenDelay hidden settings script is renamed to FilmstripLegacyOpenDelay
- new hidden settings script: FilmstripNoOpenDelay to set hidden setting value to zero
- Note: for existing installation old value (stored in preferences) will be used, so use the FilmstripNoOpenDelay script to set it to new default.
- Fixed too strict metadata checks for PhaseOne files that prevents display of such files.
- Support for HEIF files created by Fujifilm X-H2S
- Note: these files are 24Mpix and does not contain embedded preview, so increase HEIC size limit for thumbnails in Preferences - Performance section
- Usage tips: font size in tip selector is affected by standard dialogs font size. Default font size is 1/45 of tips window size.
- Improved drag file to Folders panel experience
- Fixed: Sharpener/Sharpen RAW files only setting does not work right on secondary windows
- Bug fixed: file drag from filmstrip to main display window may cancel subfolder browsing mode.
- Improved UX/UI when file drops to Folders panel are disabled
- Sony Small/Medium lossy compression (YCbCr files): built-in jpeg displayed
- New hidden option StartupProgressDisplay: controls display of progress dialog during application start, default is on on Windows/off on Mac.
- Limited macro expansion support in Preferences - External editors: it is possible to use macro tokens which will be expanded into system-specific paths.
- Targeted to ease Affinity Photo 2 support under Windows, use
- %localappdata%\Microsoft\WindowsApps\AffinityPhoto2.exe
- to run Affinity Photo2 as an External Editor.
- Supported macros (case insensitive):
- %localappdata% - local settings folder. Expands to
- Windows: C:\Users\[Windows username]\AppData\Local
- macOS: ~/Library/Preferences
- %userprofile%, %home% - expands to user's home folder.
- New hidden setting (and corresponding scripts): ForceRestoreFloatingPanels.
- If set: floating panels position/size will be forcibly restored on startup.
- Intended to use on system with multiple displays with different resolution/scaling
- Mac:
- legacy graphics is controlled with new hidden option GPUCompatibilityMode3 to reset all previous changes
- warn if locked file(s) moved (/moved to rejected).
- Bug fixed:
- Fixed information panels geometry/position save/restore if FastRawViewer was closed from Maximized or Fullscreen window state.
- If the file was not moved for some reason (e.g. attempt for locked file move on Mac while locked move was not enabled), it was still removed from the list of displayed files
- Zoom anchor at mouse cursor/Only if mouse pointer is inside the image was not worked properly for vertical images.
