exported file into lightroom

I tried to export a file into Lightroom.  I followed the instructions.  It did not show up in LR. I cannot find the file anywhere.  Help!  Can I reverse it.  It is not in the recycle bin either.

Both methods for 'export' file into Lightroom (Run external program and drag-n-drop) does not touch the original file, so if one of these methods were used: your file is still in place.

Also, FastRawViewer never deletes files without an extra step (Clear the Rejected folder), so if you accidentally used 'Move to _Rejected' action - your file is in _Rejected folder.
