Refresh folder in full screen 1 window mode after files in the folder were replaced in background by other process

Hi!
Is there any way to refresh folder in full screen 1 window mode after files in the folder were replaced in background by other process? Tried reloading folder and thumbs by hotkeys, but the screen just stays empty. It would be nice, if FRV would scan for new files and go to the first one.
Thx!

Menu - File - Reload - Reload current folder

If file contents (not file list) has changed: check the Preferences - Performance - Flush decoded RAW/JPEG cache on file/folder forced reload checkbox to empty pre-decode caches on reload.

Thank you!
Checked "flush" checkbox. but getting same results. Force refresh folder (with old file opened full screen in mono window with all panels closed). Previously opened file disappear and top bar reads old file name. FRV is not switching to the new first file in old folder.

Is there any chance that your reloading file is locked by another application?

Followup:

Do I understand correctly:

 1) Folder contents has completely different

 2) The old opened file has been removed from folder

 3) You want to automatically open 1st file in new (folder's) filelist?

No. Other viewers work fine. Forkflow is the following:
1. Download several files with chrome, put in the Folder
2. Open FRV from Keyboard maestro with "path to folder parameter"
3. Examine the files, go back to chrome.
4. Delete the folder, create the folder with the same name, download other files.
5. Now - if open again FRV with "path to folder" - everything is fine. Goes to the fist image and works great. But if I just refresh the folder inside FRV - nothing happens

When you delete the entire folder and create another one (even with same name) - FRV may lost folder track, this is expected.

Ok. Deleted files in folder manually and left the folder untouched. Same behaviour... Maybe you would like me to record a screen?

With same folder: Hotfolder mode is probably what you're looking for

Thank you! Great mode, I missed it. And it works with deleting and recreating the folder. Maybe, you can add same file handling to the normal mode? :)

In hotfolder mode FastRawViewer rescans the folder being monitored and reposition to last appeared file.

I'm not sure that this behavior is needed in normal mode. On the contrary, users will be shocked if, when a new file appears in a folder, the program repositions itself to it. For this reason, Hotfolder mode is a separate special mode.

Perfect. Thank you.
What I ment was can FastRawViewer rescan the folder the same way once when force reloaded in normal mode? It sees deleted folder and new files just fine that way

Hotfolder uses forced rescan; normal mode relies on operating system notifications.
