More pixels inside RAW than on camera specs.

Incidentally noticed using FastRawViewer my raw files are really size 4920x3276 despite what specs for my camera claim 4912x3264.
However when i import into Adobe Camera Raw or DxO PhotoLab i am only getting file size of 4912x3264,  12 vertical pixels and 8 horizontal pixels are lost.
Any known method of getting this pixels?

Yes, we try to display as much image as possible (for RAW files with vendor-specified crops in metadata: it is controlled via Preferences - Image Display - Raw image crop mode setting).

To extract full image area you may try:

  1. Convert your source image to DNG (if it is not in DNG format already)
  2. Remove or adjust DefaultUserCrop DNG tag from metadata (using exiftool or other metadata editing application)
  3. Use Adobe Camera Raw to open the modified image.

damn, that such an intuitive and fast tool has no editing possibilities.
