Compressed Fuji RAW (RAF)

We are preparing an open source release of decompressor as a part of LibRaw. That will allow raw converters, including open source ones like RawTherapee, Darktable, UFRaw to decode FujiFilm compressed raw files.

To thoroughly test the decoder we incorporated it into our FastRawViewer. Please do try it and let us know if there are any files that cause problems.

Hi,
Tried to use link for Windows XP-Vista/32bit: FastRawViewer-1.3.1.917-WinXP-Setup.exe  but got "File not found, perhaps you are using an outdated link. Use official download page to download FastRawViewer."

Dear Sir:

Yes, please use the downloads from http://www.fastrawviewer.com/download -- that is the current release, and it supports compressed Fujifilm RAFs.

Any way to cull compressed .RAF and safe keepers as uncompressed .RAF for compatibility? Thanks in advance.

Fujifilm X-Pro2, X-E2; Nikon D800E (never gets used)

FastRawViewer is a viewer only (with many advanced features for raw culling than no other viewer has). It does not write files (excepting .XMP sidecars with labels/ratings/adjustments).

You may cull/sort/delete unneeded files with FRV, than convert keepers to DNG using free Adobe DNG Convertor utility, so any DNG-capable (but not X-Trans compressed capable) software will read these converted files.
