Feature request - Tiff export

At least two other semi-advanced editors I use do not read xmp side-car data.
Therefore, the pre-adjustments I can make in FRV are not able to be passed to these other programs.
Is adding Tiff export to FRV a bad idea?  It appears I could do this with RawDigger-Research, but the cost for that is more than the two above combined (just to get Tiff export).
Thanks for your feedback and consideration.

We have TIFF/JPEG export in our TODO for some (major) update. Export is useless without crop/rotation and without quality bayer interpolation, so entire set requires a lot of program internals change.

Would perhaps DNG format be more suitable for FRV export than Tiff? ie since any new Raw data could be encapsulated?  Maybe  not...

DNG implies unaltered RAW data, right? So, I can not understand value added by DNG export (compared to original RAW)....

DNG is a generic raw format that can be opened by most programs.

To convert to DNG, one can use a free Adobe DNG converter, https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/adobe-dng-converter.html

By the way, there is nothing exactly generic about DNG specification. DNG is not a format, strictly speaking, it is a container, based on TIFF. DNG allows for many different formats inside it (including some that are rather far from a raw as it comes from a camera), and if you try opening a floating point or a linear DNG in different applications, you may see that not everything is as nice with DNG support as one might hope.
