Two Monitor Workflows

Hi there, I'm coming here from Lightroom, and am wondering about some 2-monitor workflows I'm used to. I typically use LR in one of two ways:

  1. main monitor Grid, secondary monitor "Loupe" (i.e. full frame single image)
  2. main monitor Loupe, secondary monitor 100% zoom or 200% zoom, for checking critical sharpness

For the first case, I seem to be able to drag the filmstrip off onto the second monitor, and that more or less works as expected.
For the second case, I haven't been able to find a way to make FRV work like that. There doesn't seem to be any way to drag off the second "window" in 2-window mode (what is really splitscreen afaict, as there is no second window - just a splitscreen in the main window), nor does there appear to be any way to lock the second "window" to display the same image as the first. I'm constantly zooming in and out of images as I'm culling, which is distracting and a bit annoying.
Am I missing a way this can be accomplished, or is this kind of workflow just not supported?

Dear Charles:

Yes, in fact  secondary windows are 'just a split screen', currently there is no way to drag one of sub-windows out of the main window space.

To display same window in both main and secondary window use 'copy' (->1) button at the main window top, or drag image from the main (left) window to the secondary (right) one. Yes, there is no way to automatically display same image in both windows: you're the first person who asked for such function (2/4 window mode usually used to compare different images, not the image to itself)
