Selecting images based on rating?

Hey guys. I really like your software, however I cannot figure out how to select all images based on specific rating at once. For example, in the directory containing 30 images, how can I with one shortcut select all that have rating of 5?
Is there something I am missing?
Cheers,
Wojtek

This is the feature WE missing, not you.

Rating/Label-based filtering is already in TODO, but not implemented yet. To be available in some next major FRV update.

8-o
Thanks. Waiting, then. :) It won't be much of use to me beforehand, I am afraid. Thanks!

+10 for this.

Files/Thumbnails filtering based on XMP label/rating is introduced in FRV 1.2

Open beta test just started: http://www.fastrawviewer.com/testing/fastrawviewer-1-2

Use Menu - File - Filter files by rating/label or funnel icon on Thumbail panel to open filtering dialog.

We really need to be able to manually sort thumbnails in the thumbs bar like you can in bridge. We shoot with two photographers at weddings and need this feature. Please correct me if it is already possible, I just couldn't work out how to when trialing FastRawViewer. Thanks

Already answered in E-mail, so just copy-paste here:

Unfortunately, thumbnails sort order in filmstrip is determined by Preferences - File Handling - File sort order setting.

There is no way to reorder files manually  because folder contents will re-read on folder change (file added or removed) to maintain actual thumbnail list.

In FRV 1.2 we've added  file sort order 'by EXIF shot date', so you may order files from different cameras in 'natural' ordering (earlier to later).

FRV 1.2 is now in Release Candidate state, you can try it and determine if this ordering suits your needs: http://www.fastrawviewer.com/testing/fastrawviewer-1-2
