Please try what we've suggested. When the files are selected, and visibility is set to 'selected', changing folder doesn't lead to a mess. Propagation allows for fine-tuning of each "exposure" (and other parameter, labels, ratings, rejections, etc. if needed) . Using selections makes culling process targeted rather than sequential.

Rotation is compensating for lack of orientation data or malfunctions of orientation sensor in the camera, that is for something very regular. "Exposure" is a parameter of a different nature, and a blind "exposure" tuning often leads to two sequential culling passes. To add, if applying "auto exposure" to a batch all raw data from all the files in a batch need to be analyzed prior to the action.
