Further exploration of FRV shows that it is only very specific dialogs that crash the program (the 'About' dialog and the "Software License" dialog). The final fatal errors in each case are the same, judging by the crash report.
This is very strange. The 'Software license' is not different from 'Supported cameras' (only text in dialog and caption are different).
(message update) Also, the first crash in thread starting message is from 'Registration dialog' (with license key/activation/etc), looks like this dialog also crashes.
