1st: please check, you do not have Windows updates pending (or installed and wating for reboot), especially video drivers (those could be marked as optional).
2nd: Try to turn on DirectX9 mode (instead of automatic detection) by running
WIndows Start Menu - All programs - LibRaw - FastRawViewer - Switch Graphics to DirectX 9 (than run FRV again)
If these steps will not help, please contact us via support@fastrawviewer.com, we'll provide instructions how to made 'dump' file to help us diagnose the problem.
