If you use some of hardware resample options ( http://www.fastrawviewer.com/usermanual/program-settings/gpu-processing ), it is possible that image qualtity slightly differs because of different defaults are used by hardware in different drivers (DX9 vs OpenGL).
Thank you for info, that DX9 version works better on your hardware.
