Had to go through the whole process, but before 1.7.5 would run, I had to dig around in all kinds of directory folders and delete any leftover files the OS left behind when I uninstalled 2.0.1, (I hate that the OS doesn't do a better job when it uninstalls programs.) Then, 1.7.5 would open and run until I tried clicking on a pic. So, I downloaded 2.0.2, made the changes you outlined, and WALA, all appears well again.
