Sigma lens ID in EXIF panel not correct
Forums:
Hi,
The EXIF data being shown in FRV seems to mis-identify the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art lens. It displays as 50mm f/1. It does correctly display the actual aperture that was used on the exposure. So, for example, it shows 50mm f/5.6 for the actual aperture used. Adobe Bridge does identify (and display) the lens correctly as a 50mm f/1.4 lens.
As a comparison, my Nikon 24-120 f/4 VR lens does display correctly in FRV as <focal length used> f/4.

Yes, Nikon (and some other)
Yes, Nikon (and some other) cameras writes incorrect MaxApertureValue EXIF tag (0x9205) in some cases. The correct value is stored not in EXIF but in vendor-specific Makernotes data (Adobe reads it from there).
We're working on it, expect fix in some (near) future version.
