I found this discussion after searching for a way to moved multiple rejected files at once.  I navigate thumbnails in the Filmstrip mode while keeping the main window in single file view so I can see a higher res view of the selected file.

I selected 7 images in filmstrip mode, and used CMD+Shift+Delete. As you know, this only works on the "current file" in the selection in filmstrip mode. If I do the same thing in Grid view, all the files move to the rejected folder as intended.  I understand that I can right click and select "move to _Rejected global folder", but it is inconvenient to have to right click vs the flow you get from hotkeys.

I only use the filmstrip mode because there is no way to have a window in single file view while also navigating the grid view. It would be ideal to browse files in grid view while also having the single image view in another window. There are so many useful features in grid view that filmstrip lacks. Would it be possible to have a dedicate single image view panel so you can still browse and reject selections of files in grid mode while viewing a larger view?  Or a toggle that lets Filmstrip mode act like grid mode when it comes to moving multiple selected files to _Rejected?
