I bought your product yesterday, I really hoped that it was no worse than a Photomechanic in terms of speed, but it was disappointed. Every time he opens a folder with a lot of photos, he downloads all the thumbnails again and it takes forever. Even the built-in explorer of any system does not behave this way. What is the problem? Version 2.0.8 macbook pro 14 m1pro

Is there way to disable color and view images black and white?
Monochrome mode is not same it adds squares to debayered image.

I would like to see the option of only displaying a single file type. eg. RAW only
It probably would be best to have that option in the 'Sort & Filter' panel
or as an option in File/Customize/Preferences/FileHandling/FileFormats
When shooting film it's commong to scan the negatives and obtain a DNG file from the scanner that stores the negative image. What I generally do it to them load the file in Adobe Camera Raw and invert it using a Curves adjustment. This change is dutifully displayed by Bridge both for the thumbnail and the viewing of the image. It would be great if FRV would support this feature. It is really the only thing that would allow me to finally stop using Bridge.

About a week ago I purchased and started using FRV. I was hoping it to be a replacement to my very aging LR 6.14. The one major thing I absolutely love about LR is the ability to search or photos based on an almost unlimited criteria. I wasn't expecting that in FRV. What I thought it could do was at least search of images having a Color Label or Rating.
I tried everyway I could think of, read what the manual says about Labels and Ratings, and find no reference to searching. SO am I missing something?
I'm a bit new to using FastRawViewer and I'm currently being slightly tripped up by the different star icons used in the grid view vs the Metadata panel and bottom bar.
In the grid view I've opted to show star ratings when they've been applied. These are shown as hollow stars. That's ok on its own, except that in the XMP Metadata panel and in the bottom bar a hollow star icon is used when that star rating is NOT applied. I'd love if I could get the stars in the grid view to appear as filled like in the other UIs.

Hello,
I also use Fuji X Raw Studio. When I process files in it, it also creates .fp3 and .fp2 files I see.
In Digikam I can add additional sidecar extensions so they are taken into account upon renaming.
I would like to see that FRV implements something similar as I like the renaming function in FRV.
Is this in the cards?

Hello,
is there a way to add "Custom selection crop" feature or some kind of crop preview that could be applied on RAW file during culling? This would become very handy when checking composition of the photo. Right now, I have to switch to 3rd party program every time I need to check composition using crop feature.
For example, IrfanViewer has this very handy crop selection feature:
- applied custom selection can be adjusted or moved by using right mouse button and holding CTRL etc.

I have assigned stars to my photos in FastRawViewer. How do I view the stars that I assigned in Adobe Lightroom? Are there any instructions or video showing the process from FastRawViewer to Lightroom workflow. I could not find it in the FastRawViewr manual. Thank you.
