I wonder if there is a way to set different zoom levels for portrait oriented photos vs landscape photos.
For example, on my system if I set the zoom level to 30%, my landscape photo's fill the frame nicely. However, portrait photos are also then shown on 30% zoom level, but this is too zoomed in, the top and bottom of the photo gets cut off. For portrait photos, a zoom level of 20% is perfect.
I have tried the "fit to window size" zoom option, but I don't like it as it then touches the window, killing the framing and leaving no breathing room around the photo.
Hi, I would like to be able to simply select two, or four photos at a time from the film strip, and then click on the two or four display grid buttons accordingly, and have the selected photos fill the display grid acordingly for comparison. Thanks.
4 weeks ago, I noticed a file on my CFExpress card when downloading raw photos to the PC.
I formatted my card, but it just reappeared on the next download.
I formatted on the PC and then again in camera, but it keeps re-appearing. Can someone tell me what this is? https://postimg.cc/TLSLg7Wn
I like FastRaw viewer for culling images, raw and jpg, but sadly, it does not support newer and more efficient formats like JPEG XL or even if. I'm trying to transcode my image archives to JPEG XL, but there is no easy way to cull them or view them.
Currently, when switching from Grid view to Single image view, most image adjustment/display functions are not accessible until the current file is manually reloaded (exposure, contrast, white balance, focus peaking, shadow boost, highlight inspection, etc.).
Is there a way to automatically load the image when switching to Single image view so that these functions are available without additional manual steps?
Hi,
i have a tool that is much better at touching up jpgs rather than doing the full RAW conversion.
So for the SOOC Keepers, I sometimes like to pass on the jpg. While you can do open in finder and right click tool, it would be nicer if the external tool gets passed the jpg than the raw file which is what FRV does.
Is there a possibility to pass on the jpg by adding some tag to the external tool line?
Thanks,
Alex
Hi
Is the above possible and if so how do I do it?
I want this to identify photos in the same bracket.
Is there another/better way of doing this in FRV?
Thanks, Rob
