Hi there! I used FRW for a long time on PC but only because my PC was faster than my Mac Book Air. I now got a Mac Studio so I recently switched from PC to Mac with FRW.
I would like to know how is it possible to : if I'm in a folder "Y" and I open a list of .raf, FRW will open a gallery with those .raf.

Hello,
For several months now, I've been experiencing an issue when starting FastRawViewer.
The splash screen appears immediately after launching the program, but it can take anywhere from at least 25 seconds to, at worst, over a minute before the application actually opens.
Previously, I never noticed this kind of startup delay, and my PC configuration hasn't changed since then.
I'm running Windows 11 Home (24H2) with the latest version of FRV (2.0.10).
Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Hi, I have a question to more advanced users:
I'm using standard selection mode (NOT Advanced selection mode).
My problem:
I'm selecting in Grid mode for example two not consecutive images, e.g. image 1 and image 5.
I'm switchting with key "G" to single image mode and get image 1 displayed.
How can I move to the NEXT SELECTED image 5, without going back to Grid mode, highlighting image 5 and pressing "G" again?

I cannot work out how to view my OneDrive files.
The "Tree" defaults to the C drive on my computer and i cannot see any way to include the OneDrive.
Thanks
Ronnie

using fastrawviewer for culling of large sets of wedding photos, it would be very helpful to have the option of displaying the star rating as an overlay in fullscreen mode. ideally in an rather unobtrusive way, so in the lower part of the image, with transparent background, as to not obscure the composition of the image.

Canon cameras have the "Highlight Tone Priority" setting which is stored in the Makernotes. (Other brands have similar but differently called settings.)
If I am not mistaken this setting finally makes Canon's DPP or Adobe's ACR and LR(C) apply a specific tonecurve to save highlights.
I just reread the chapters to histograms and exposure correction in the FRV help. (Thank you for the very comprehensive information!)
Do I understand correctly FRV ignores this setting?
I won't raise a feature request if not - just trying to understand what FRV displays.

Hi there, basically my workflow means that I create a folder per job, import the images into that folder, then use FRV to make selects. The issue is that my main folder with all the jobs in it is always in alphabetical order, so I need to remember the folder name I just made (easier said than done sometimes), then find it. My workflow would improve massively if I could have my WORK folder arranged by Date Created instead of A-Z. Does that make sense? Is this possible at all?

Hi,
Hey- all the links I can find suggest that you can cnange the hotkey/ shortcut to set the ratings by just prssing the number? I have to press alt 1 etc & would rather just press 1 (etc) can this still be done in V2 & if so how? I have looked in prefs & it looks different to any refs I can see online
(Latest OSX if that makes a difference?)

Hi all, and specially hello LibRaw people.
I stumbled upon FRV from a suggestion from someone online while I'm looking at cleaning up and tightening my workflow to see if I can go from taking a year to process images to the shortest time possible.
