One of the main things I do in the photo browser is cull unneeded pictures from big collections. But there's no apparent way to move stuff to the trash; it's not even an option to use the trash as the "rejected" folder.
Am I missing something?

I'm currently using the following pattern for file renames: topic-/DMMMM-yyyy/-camera-/5d/ which generates the following filename topic-June-2024-camera-00001.jpg
 
I would like to have everything lowercase, i.e. june not June
 
I would also like to have the month in a different locale than what is currently set on my computer, i.e. it would be good to be able to manually set the locale for the date pattern.
I'm Norwegian, so I would like to have it say juni not june
 

I have a quick question. Sometimes when I compare images for Contrast Edges or Fine Details the results are very close to see with a naked eye. (See image attached). Is there a a location in FastRawViewer that shows the quantity of edges or any other measurement so I can compare them other than visually?

Is there to keep exposure compensation set in the UI from image to image. Would work wonders on a series that e.g. is one-stop underexposed.

I have gone through the FastRawViewer manual several times, including searching with the term 'feet.'

Are users unable to change unit measure preference from meters to feet?

If this is possible, where is that accomplished?

Hi, I'm new to FastRawViewer. I don't see a way to search the forum so I apologize if I'm asking questions that have already been answered.
Since I'd like to use this software to cull my images before I import them from a memory card into a local hard drive, I would like to select the keepers (usually by rejecting the ones I don't want to keep), save them to file folders, creating the folders dynamically and renaming the files in the process. Is this possible?

It would be nice, if FRV would stay in background in hot folder mode. Right now FRV brings itself to the front when new file is detected.

I wonder if I have color management set up correctly for FastRawViewer (FRV)? When I look at a raw file from Adobe Bridge, Adobe Camera Raw (ACR), and Adobe Photoshop, the same image appears to have the same color. But when I look at the same image from FRV the color is different. The camera is a Nikon Z 8 with raw capture and color mode set as Adobe RGB. In ACR is use Pro Photo RGB 16 bit. For FRV I have reset all preferences to the defaults. I periodically use Calibrite PROFILER with an X-Ritei1Display Pro to calibrate my monitor.

I'd like to do a bit of searching before I post any questions ... just in case the answer I am lookign for is out there somewhere. I don't see anyway to search forums.
