Ctrl+Shift+Tab doesn't work as a shortcut

Forums:

I wanted to assign a pair of very specific shortcuts.

Ctrl+Tab works, but when i try to assign Ctrl+Shift+Tab, it's registering in the Keyboard Shortcuts as "Ctrl+Shift+Backtab" (weird), and when i use it, the program simply ignores it.

I'm wondering, why does Ctrl+Tab work, but Ctrl+Shift+Tab doesn't, and i think that this is some kind of a shortcuts bug.

Possible bug: Setting vanished, can't set it back to default

Forums:

When testing different settings, i accidentaly unchecked "Store shader settings..." in GPU compatibility. Now on every start, FRV shows "Preparing..." and "Initializing color..." with progress bars, and the startup takes longer.

I wanted to enable this setting again, to get back the quicker start, but i can't find it anymore. It's gone.

I'm using DX11 with an nVidia RTX 3080.

Mixing ratings with Mylio XMP

Forums:

Hi Guys,
Huge fan of FRV, been using it for years. For reasons of collaboration and work on mobile devices, I'm occasionally using Mylio to evaluate photos. Mylio also creates XMP files (albeit much larger) for rating. The files read in thumbnail view but not in individual view.
What's worse is that when the Mylio XMP is there, it's impossible to re-rate a file (after doing a set of 2000 sports photos, I drop the four-five star photos into a folder for further triage, where quality is just one issue but also repetition).
Here's what the XMP looks like.

Incorrect presentation of Lumix FZ1000 photos

Forums:

The presentation of RAW photos coming from Lumix FZ1000 (*.RW2) is incorrect. The problem occurs only at short focal length (wide angle).
See the attached screenshots: the first one comes from FRV, the second one from Lightroom Classic. The FRV picture shows rounded corners and distorsion.

unable to move selected files in filmstrip to _rejected folder

Forums:

in grid mode, i can select multiple files and then press ctrl-shift-del to move them all to the _rejected folder,
but in single image mode, if i select multiple files on the filmstrip and press ctrl-shift-del, it only moves the single 'current' file to the _rejected folder, not the whole selection
note:  i have 'interface/selection/single file keys work for multiple files" checked ON.

is there a way to select multiple files in using the filmstrip and send them all to _rejected?

Drag and drop does not move files

Forums:

When i drag and drop image thumbnail to _Rejected subfolder using tree navigation on the left side, program creates copy even though i hold Shift key and my cursor change from "+" (copy) to "->" (move).

Move to > [Select Folder..] old start location

Forums:

Right Click > Move to > [Select folder..]  on the image will open last used folder which could be last used folder from one week ago.
Would be great if it used currently active image folder as starting point for [selecting folder..] command

Shift+LMB selects from beginning of folder.

Forums:

Shift+mouse click selects files starting from very first file in the folder rather than starting selection from currently active file

Can't use the arrow keys to move

Forums:

In situations where I
- first launch the FastRawViewer to single image view
- hit the "G" key to go from multi-image view to single image view
- in single image view and hit the "Z" key to zoom in and out

the arrow keys will stop functioning. I will have to use the mouse to select an image in the filmstrip to restore the arrow keys. It's almost as if the filmstrip doesn't have the focus, then the arrow keys don't work.

I'm using Mac Studio on Mac OS 12.4
FRV version 2.0.4

Rejected Menu Item Greyed Out

Forums:

I'm having an issue where the "Move [file] to _Rejected" menu item is greyed out when using subfolder mode — this also makes the keyboard shortcut inoperable so rejecting files is not possible at all.
FWIW, It makes no difference if I use a global Rejected folder or not.
Exiting subfolder mode re-enables rejecting files.
As far as I can tell, this is a problem that cropped up within the last update or two as I don't remember it happening more than a (few) months or so ago.
