Hi all, I'm wondering if someone else has this issue too. Ver 1.7.8 on Windows 10.
My pictures were taken by Sony A7 (gen 1) and in ARW raw format. In this particular instance, the picture looks fuzzy in FRV compared to DXO PhotoLab 2. It's a little concerning because if I didn't look at it through DXO, I would have thought that I didn't focus correctly and thrown away the file. Any tips?

New to FRV. Once I've culled files to be imported - via copy? - can I rename them duiring copy? How would I do that?
Thanks,
Steve

I use focus stacking for much of my work, and will typically compare two images at the beginning or end of the stack using Multi-window to find images that are not in focus anywhere, and reject them.
It can be difficult to evaluate sharpness in the shadow areas, so it would be a huge help if Shadow boost and Highlight inspection would work on all images in Multi-window mode, not just on the main image.
Hope this is possible to implement.

I am used to set rating in Lightroom with using my keyboard numpad and scratching my sack with other hand, when using FastRawViewer i have to use both hands and if i hold one finger on the alt key i hardly reach the numpad buttons with my pinky.
Is there way to switch "Alt+5" for rating to simply "5" ?

Hello,
Love FRV for quickly reviewing and culling 1000s of photos from timelapses. However, as my cameras recycle names after 1000s of images, newer pictures could have an "older" name rank. As a result the filmstrip lists pics in the wrong time order.
For instance a new _RA123456.RAW pic gets displayed before an older _RA234567.RAW pic by FRV's filmstrip and when viewing back to back images. Resulting in timelapse viewing that keeps jumping back and forth between sequences that were not taken sequentially. Makes it very hard to cull images from large timelapses.

Hi.
I have troubles with fullscreen mode, maybe you can help with this.
I'll try to explain behaviour I see, maybe this is intended...
I'm on Windows 10 21H2/x64.
So FRV window can be either in normal state or maximized (with taskbar visible, not fullscreen), most of the time I have it maximized.
When I enter fullscreen mode by pressing 'F' and then exiting from it - FRV always exits to normal window state.
