Dear FRV team
I really like FRV - especially the new version 1.4.7 with the new demosaicing algorithm.
But there's a functionality I currently miss: If I add a folder as favorite folder, I can only access the folder itself but now its subfolders.
I would be nice, If subfolders would be accessible as well.
As an exmaple:
/Pictures/2018/Venice/Day 1
/Pictures/2018/Venice/Day 2
/Pictures/2018/Venice/Day 3
/Pictures/2018/Venice/Day 4

Hi there! I just found FRV and I really like it. I have one question though: Is there a way to set image ratings without having to press the alt/option key (Mac)? It would work much faster for me and play nicer with my bluetooth controller mappings through Enjoyable.

Is there a way to configure FRV so, that's by opening, a default folder (tree) will open?

I'm looking for culling software for newest Sony camera.
FRV looks great and is pretty fast, almost as fast as FastPictureViewer, but has same problem as latter.
RAWs zoomed to 1:1 arent sharp at all, they are better then FastPictureViewer, but only by a fraction.
Is FRV reading full raw from new Sony camera or only interpolating sidecar jpg?
Images in LR are blazingly sharp, in FRV (and FPV even more) looks missfocused...

I tried to search this forum for any prior discussions but see there is no search bar. Sorry if this has been discussed.
I am testing Capture One as a lightroom alternative/improvement and also recently discovered FRV. So far I am VERY impressed with FRV!!
I am trying to fully understand metadata sync/conflicts between these three programs. In all I have set preferences in all 3 to read/write to xmp file, and for testing purposes I manually force read/write/reload of the test files to see how color and star ratings are handled between the three.

How do I change the ShiftClickSelectionMode parameter?
I see 00000000 in "ShiftClickSelectionModeDefault.reg" and I can usre Notepad to make a change but how do intrerperate the instructions on page 156 in the PDF manual? I want a group select (Shift Click) to:
Bit 0: (0) - The second limit for the Shift-Click's range will be 'last Ctrl-Clicked', irrespective of whether the action was "selection" or "de-selection"

Hi... maybe I've got a setting wrong in FRV somewhere but last week I changed the picture control settings on my Nikon to Monochrome to experiment with learning to see images in black and white. I shoot raw so this setting only changes the jpg preview file that displays on the camera's LCD screen, the raw file captures and retains all the colour information. However, upon viewing in FRV, the thumbnails on grid view are all in black and white. (Note that when I view the image in full size, it is in colour). Is there a way to have the thumbnail display in colour?
