I've been using FRV 1.4.9 for initial review before importing into Lightroom 6 on macOS 10.13.6. I'm very happy in general. But I'm finding one issue with files imported into LR - the white balance.
I have FRV set to use the 'As Shot' WB, and to export settings to XMP of course. LR is set to write back to the XMP file.
Most of my shots are taken with a fixed WB - the camera reports it as 5700K, LR reports it as 5500K + 6 magenta, and FRV as 5535K/5. I do not change WB in FRV. But when I import them into LR, they show a custom WB of 5535K + 5, and not 'As Shot'.

I've rated and categorised a lot of photos in FRV, but the metadata no longer imports into LR. I've been doing this for months, but now I can't get it to read the metadata created in FRV. I did have this problem once before, and it turned out that I had duplicate folders, so the two programs weren't looking at the same files. This time, I've triple checked that they are looking at the same files. The xmp file is right there, and contains the right flags, as far as I can tell. Is this a LR problem? Is there something else I can try?

I'm having a workflow issue--I use FRV to preview my files and select the best ones (using stars). I right click to "move to rejected" all unselected files. I end up with, say, 8 selected files in the top folder and 15 rejected files that are in a subfolder below the top folder named "_Rejected." I want to import only the selected files into LIghtroom, so in the LR import dialog I point it to the top folder, but when LR shows the proposed import it displays all 23 files--both those in the top folder and those in the _Rejected folder.

Hello!
Is it possible to sync the time of two cameras used on one shoot? (ie a wedding).
I couldn't find this in the useer manual so I guess not but since it is a feature of PhotoMechanic and LR i thought it might be here too.
Thank you

Hello. I'm a new user as of today and am extremely pleased with the software so far. One comment/question: is there a way to move the navigation arrows closer to the ratings/label panel? Or move the panel closer to the navigation arrows? It's inconvenient to move through photos using navigation arrows on the lower left of the interface while rating them using a panel higher up on the opposite side of the viewing screen. Thank you.

At the moment I have to point the mouse cursor to the part of the image I want to inspect and hit the z key.
Wouldn't it be possible to zoom in and out with just one click into the image? This would save the need to also get the keyboard involved. Other programs like PhotoNinja (a raw converter) do this and I found it to be a really comfortable solution.

Hi everyone
This morning I tried to filter a folder of images by the EXIF data, and found FRV is very limited in its ability. For example I wanted to filter all photos by a certain lens -- no go. Then I tried to filter the photos at a certain focal length -- no go.
Am I right? Or am I missing the right way to do it? If it is this limited, it would immediately be somthing I would very much wish to see improved.
cheers

I've moved from FastPictureViewer, because of tragic Sony ARW demosaic, but i do lack 2 small features.
1. Could You change labeling to on/off on one button? Now I need to shortcut additional button on mouse to reset label if mistaken. Perfect would be reds: on/off on same button, switchable. And so on. The same to stars.
