I just installed FastRawViewer and am very impressed. Is there a way to view both the camera produced jpg file alongside the raw file? If there is only a jpg file, it is displayed, but if there are both jpg and raw versions of the same image, only the raw is displayed.

Hello,
I´m giving a tray to FRV and I like it a lot. Its speed is wonderfull.
I´m trying to personalize FRW to my taste.
I´ll kindly apreciate any help with 3 main problems that I´ve found on FRV:
1) I´d like to know how to toggle zoom with my left mouse clic. I´m surfing through the preferences an d I can´t discover it. At the moment I can do it only with the "Z" key.

If possible I would like to have FileNumber added to the File Information section in the EXIF tags to display.
I recently found myself having to restore deleted photos. The recovery software replaced the original EXIF FileName with an arbitrary restored FileName
I would find it very useful to have the EXIF window display the FileNumber. This would greatly facilitate renaming a file to the original file name.
Thanks

As a brand new user, I suspect this is a case of pilot error, but for some reason FRW doesn't read existing Adobe sidecar files. Could you set me straight on this please? While I appreicate the fact that FRV is intended as a first step program, I have 10's of thousands existing files where it would be helpful.

Hi,
I´m new to FRW, I found it usefull but have some questions about ratings, rejections and XMP..
I have to review/cull some large folders already imported to Ligthroom, mostly without XMP,, and ofcourse revewing them with FRW is really faster, part of the photos are already developed in Lr and I dont whant to mess with them.
When reviwing with FRW I often have to use Shift+S and or Shift+H because of wide dinamic range situations (this works fine!!),, then I mark as rejected or rate them with a * my keepers.. (what would be the P flag equivalent?)

Im interested in using FRV for culling images before importing them to lightroom.
But im not interested in bloating all my folders with xmp sidecars for no reason.
Is it possible to do this somehow?
Cheers!

The images from my Panasonic DMC-FZ300 are distorted in FastRawViewer!?
Any idea if this can be solved?
Regards,
Guuz

Hi FastRawViewer Team,
after my first real production work with rating in FastRawViewer, I have two ideas to enhance the speed and effectiveness of rating even further:
If I go from one image to the next, the moment when I am able to do the rating is just after the red frame disappers. Or in other words: As recently as the preview image is rendered. Not a long time, but long enough to stumble over it.

Hi Team,
While reviewing images in FRV, specially for Bird Photographers we like to know the RGB values at a specific Location. Like white birds with feathers , we like to know the given values in Feather details.
Do we have any options to place the cursor on image and get the RGB values between 0-255 ?
Thanks
Krishna
