I think I am missing something obvious here, but how to I display the image size as part of the thumbnail info? Also, I have enabled 'show image size' in the bottom bar but it's not showing up. I've also enabled show file size in the EXIF data panel and that works, but it would be useful to have it displayed with the thumbnail.
Thanks

Hi - I'm trying to refine my workflow. I use a Fujifilm and a Nikon which FRV picks up and opens when connected. But I also use an iPhone for candid or quick photos (or if I'm out and about without any of my other cameras). How can I make FRV open for photo culling when the iPhone is connected? I know they are not RAWs but I still need to sort through and select.
Thanks

Hello, at first i want to say that i think you people did and do a great job in creating this little masterpiece of a software. Great customization possibilities and well thought mechanics. I love it.
Basically i wouldn't have any cause to write here, because as i said, i am amazed and i had no troubles with FRV so far.
But there is one thing i cannot figure out. When i opened the program today, the Button Tool Bars i had placed on the left and right of my workspace where gone. I searched through all menus, all settings, through the manual, through this forum.

Hi, in frv i have in exif display preferences, by: Dist.range: subject distance range selected.
But it dosent show up.
When i check my flickr acount, in the exif the distance shows up, so my camera a nikon D3s ad it to the exif.

Hello! When do you think you'll be able to add support for the EOS R/CR3? Thanks!

Hello.
When I attempt to scroll down the thumbnails, the screen always bounces back to the topmost row of images when I release the mouse. I am running OS 10.14.3 on a Mac i7.
Thanks.

Hi, new FRV user, I was wondering if there is any way to add a grid to my picture's view ? To check if some are "level" or not.
Thanks

Been using FRV for about 6 months now to cull after shoots and prior to LR edit.
Works beautifully most of the time -- BUT - if I let LR convert a shoot to DNG and then try to review in FRV, all speed is lost and FRV is nearly unusable.
I've tried the various settings, DNG creation paths (with / without jpegs), various FRV settings etc. but DNG format just seems to gum up the FRV works.
My solution has been to not convert to DNG. But I am curious what is going on. Am I missing something?
thanks
Eric

I have had FRV for sometime, experimented with it and then shelved it. My genre of photography requires that I need realistic colors and as much detail as possible, which resulted in me going back to FRV and attempting to master the use of FRV. Generally my workflow consists of a slight flattening of the RAW image in Adobe Raw Convertor, then Color correction in Photoshop using Dan Margulis CC by using Lab numbers while looking at an RGB file. I then post process further using the Modern Photoshop Color Workflow as devised and updated by Dan Margulis and his team.
