I would like to use FRV to evaluate the exported output files of several photo processing apps. However, I am having a problem displaying On1 Photo Raw (2018.5) exported tiff files. Tiffs from Nik (original), DXO PL2 and Luminar display correctly - see attached file "FRV On1 tiff-1.jpg". See "FRV On1 tiff-2" for when I try to open an On1 tiff. The On1 tiff file does open correctly in XnviewMP and Windows photo viewer.

On several cameras it is possible to choose different aspect rations instead of the typical 3:2. On my camera have selected 4:3 aspect ratio due to I am almost always using this aspect ratio on my images for the web and print.
I would like the FastRawViewer to have a feature that the user can chose if the FastRawViewer is showing the full sensor aspect ratio or the selected aspect ratio when the images was taken. If FastRawViewer is showing the selected aspect ratio, the histogram should only be based on the selected aspect ratio and not the full image.

What's the best way to move settings for FastRawViewer from and older computer to a new one? I have done some searching but haven't found anything. Are there certain files or registry edits you can copy? Might be a great feature to have export/import settings on the menus somewhere.
Thanks!

Hello, I enjoyed the software and I was going to buy it but just right now there was the need for showing all the photos that was inside all the folders of my Main work folder. I mean, want to see all the images of the subfolders of a folder. BUT, they dont show up! Its not possible to show all the images together? For me its not possible to click folder by folder to see the content... to buy the software, thats a must.
Please confirm! Thank you!

Hi,
Is it really hard to implement multi selecting folders in tree view?
in this example i have to select all 6 folders from one wedding (2 x sony alpha) and in each one i have to select twice starred and not starred, becouse we do preliminary selecting live.
That means 12 operations instead 2 (all folders starred and not-starred) for almost each wedding.

When I've set "Default image to display" to "External JPEG" I still get the RAWs in grid view. Is this supposed to be?
Occasionally I want to cull just the JPEGs in a RAW + JPEG workflow, i.e. if I used in-camera filters and the RAW is just a safe keeping in case the filter doesn't work out as expected. Thus I only want to see the JPEGs both in grid view and in singe image view. Is there a way to achieve this?

In the previous version, if I set the mode Customize> File Formats> Default Image to display> Same as previous, and for example set embedded JPEG. After rebooting or changing the directory, I still worked with embedded jpeg. When necessary, I switched to raw, and later turned on jpeg again. After reinstalling the system, the program shows me raw every time, when changing the directory or restarting. And you have to press J again to change, and this is extra movement
Setting embedded jpeg mode constantly is inconvenient

Hi,
I really like frv but it feels instinctive in single image mode to scroll with the mouse to go to the next or previous image either on its own or holding ctrl, rather than dropping back to the keyboard to press <- or ->.
Also, if possible auto hiding and hover-revealing the bottom film strip would be awesome!

Hi,
I am having a hard time selecting multiple images and moving them to the import dialog box in LR. I have no problem doing this with a single image but whenever I select more than one image on the first image goes to LR.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Tom
